Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 cup brown rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 cloves garlic
- Herbs, fresh, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine water, brown rice, and salt in a large pot and bring to a boil. Peel the garlic and press it into the pot. Simmer the rice for 20 minutes from the time it’s cooked, then let it swell for 5-10 minutes. Add a little more water after 15 minutes if needed. Serve the rice on plates and garnish with fresh herbs.
