Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 2 bulbs of garlic
- 500 g sausage (chorizo picante), in one piece
- 3 liters of tomato juice
- 1 gr. can/n tomatoes, peeled, or 500g fresh tomatoes
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, rose hot
- 3 tbsp instant chicken broth
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp rapeseed oil, or refined olive oil
- 2 chili peppers, more to taste
- 8 waxy potatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 large onions
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
fiery Spanish stew with chorizo
Wash, peel, deseed, and finely chop the chorizo, garlic, potatoes, chili, and onions. Heat the oil in a large pot and fry the finely chopped ingredients until lightly browned. Add the remaining ingredients to the pot and simmer for 25 minutes. Season to taste at the end.
