Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

An old family recipe – but nobody knows why it’s called that.

Prepare a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients. If necessary, refrigerate the shortcrust pastry. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) top/bottom heat. Take a little of the dough at a time and form into walnut-sized balls. Brush the tops with egg white and press small indentations into the centers. Place the balls on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes.
