Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 0.33 ginger root
- 2 tbsp honey
- 200 ml vermouth (Cinzano Orancio)
- e.g. water, boiling
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
with alcohol
Rinse the ginger thoroughly and trim off any gnarled pieces. Then cut this piece into as fine strips as possible and place it in a 1.5-liter container. Add the honey and mix thoroughly until each piece of ginger is coated. Then pour in the Cinzano, mix again, and let it rest for half an hour. Bring to a boil and pour the mixture into the container. The drink is ready when it turns a dark yellow-brown color. It can be enjoyed hot or cold.
