Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 10 cm ginger, fresh, peeled, very finely chopped
- lemon juice
- 1 lemon(s), sliced
- 75 g sugar
- 1 liter of boiling water
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes
Homemade lemonade as a healthy thirst quencher
Combine the ingredients in a container and pour over one liter of boiling water. Stir well and let it steep for two hours. Chill and serve over crushed ice, ideally. Tip: Instead of lemons, you can use limes or oranges, or round out the flavor with a bit of mint. A shot of vodka in each glass also works well.
