Ginger – Lemongrass – Confectionery

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 30 g fresh ginger
  • 200 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame, black
  • 2 tsp lemongrass, ground
  • 125 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 20 minutes

makes about 30 chocolates

Peel and grate the ginger. Knead the marzipan with all the ingredients (except the chocolate coating) into a dough. If it’s too sticky, add a little more powdered sugar. Refrigerate the mixture for about 3-4 hours. Then shape into small balls and refrigerate for another hour. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath, cover the balls with the chocolate, and let them cool on aluminum foil.
