Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 15 slice(s) ginger root, fresh
- 15 slice(s) turmeric, fresh
- 6 lemon balm leaves
- 6 mint leaves
- 6 sage leaves
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 ½ liters of water
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
natural and refreshing
Wash the ginger and turmeric and cut 15 thin slices each. Wash the herbs and pluck their leaves. Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, the herbs, the ginger, and the turmeric, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let it steep for another 10 minutes. Pour everything through a sieve into a carafe and let it cool completely.
