Gingerbread made easy

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 500 g brown sugar
  • 500 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 100 g orange peel, possibly chopped
  • 100 g candied lemon peel, possibly chopped
  • ½ pack of gingerbread spice
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • n. B. wafers (7 cm diameter)
  • Cake icing of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix all ingredients together and spread onto 70 mm wafer paper. Bake at 200°C for 10-15 minutes. After baking, the gingerbread cookies can be covered with chocolate icing or another icing of your choice.
