Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 liters of high-quality grappa
  • 2 kg sour cherries, fresh
  • 1.4 kg sugar
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon

Instructions

a Portuguese liqueur with 17 – 20% alcohol

Wash the sour cherries thoroughly. Place them in a 5-liter glass carboy along with the sugar, cinnamon, and grappa. Store in a cool, dark place for two months. Serve the liqueur with a cherry in a shot glass or chocolate shot glass, which can then be eaten with the drink.
