Gnocchi and mushroom casserole with salami

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mixed mushrooms
  • 150 g salami in one piece
  • 600 g gnocchi
  • 75 g Gouda, grated
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 150 ml milk
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the mushrooms into pieces. Finely dice the onion and the salami. Heat the butter and fry the mushrooms and onions. Briefly fry the salami. Season with salt and pepper. Dust with flour and sauté briefly. Add the stock and milk, bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat for 4-5 minutes. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions, then drain in a sieve. Season the mushroom sauce with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix the gnocchi and sauce together and pour into a baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and broil under the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
