very easy

Boil the potatoes, peel them, and mash them into a smooth dough. Dust a board with flour and pour the mashed potatoes onto it. Make a hole in the center and add the egg and baking powder. Gently knead the dough with well-floured hands, then divide and shape into 2 cm thick rolls. Cut the rolls into 3 cm long pieces and coat them in flour again. If you like, you can add the extra effort and stamp the typical gnocchi pattern with a fork. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook until the gnocchi float to the surface. The gnocchi can be served with all kinds of pasta sauces.
