Mini dumplings in cream cheese sauce with arugula and Parmesan

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 10 dumplings (mini potato dumplings)
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • a few stalks of arugula
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 some salt and pepper from the mill
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

With ham cubes or vegetarian with mushrooms

Brown the ham and finely chopped onion in a little olive oil. Let the mini dumplings cook in lightly boiling salted water for 7 minutes. Drain well, add to the ham mixture, and fry briefly. Add a little freshly ground pepper. Add the cream cheese and milk. Stir gently over low heat until a creamy sauce forms. Serve on plates and sprinkle with chopped arugula and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Alternatively, you can use mushrooms instead of ham.
