Gnocchi/Spaetzle with spinach and goat's cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g gnocchi or spaetzle, from the refrigerated section
  • 200 g spinach, fresh or frozen
  • 150 g goat’s cheese with herbs
  • 200 g cream
  • some butter
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the butter in a pan and fry the gnocchi/spätzle until golden brown. In the meantime, blanch or thaw the spinach, chop it, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add the goat’s cheese, cream, and spinach to the gnocchi/spätzle and mix. Season to taste, then serve. Note: This dish can be enhanced with garlic. Alternatively, you can use ready-made garlic goat’s cheese.
