Gnocchi with bacon, sage and garlic

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 50 g butter
  • 100 g bacon cubes
  • 1 bunch of sage
  • some pepper
  • 500 g gnocchi (refrigerated section)
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely dice the shallot and garlic and sauté in butter in a pan. Add the diced bacon and simmer. Finely slice the washed sage and add it to the bacon. Alternatively, you can also sprinkle the shredded sage on top. Season with pepper. Salt is not necessary, as the bacon adds enough salt to the sauce. For the gnocchi, gently heat the butter in a non-stick pan until it begins to brown. Add the gnocchi and fry in the butter for about 5 minutes. Add the bacon sauce to the pan and mix everything well.
