Ingredients

  • 2 Gnocchi packs from the refrigerated department, or homemade approx. 1 kg

For the sauce:

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 cups Cream
  • 350 ml Milk
  • 1 Bouillon cube
  • 250 g Blue cheese
  • 2 tbsp Sugar, heaped well
  • 2 tbsp Chives fresh
  • Salt and pepper, some oil for the pan
  • Some light sauce thickener, or a roux

Instructions

  • Put on a saucepan with water and a little salt for the gnocchi. Cut the onion into small pieces (dice) and fry it in a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil, then add the blue cheese cut into slices ... let it melt a little and then add the cream and milk. Always stir well so that the cheese dissolves, now add the stock cube as well as salt, pepper and sugar, taste as you like. When the cheese has dissolved add the chives and the gnocchi in the boiling water (you only need 2 min.) Finally, thicken the sauce a little, either you make a roux or you take some light sauce thickener. Serve the gnocchi with the sauce, a fresh salad goes well with it, as the dish is very powerful, you can also find my salad dressing under my recipes and now enjoy your meal ...
