Gnocchi with chunky tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ onion(s)
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 beefsteak tomato(s)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • e.g. basil
  • e.g. parsley
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 1 pack of gnocchi (refrigerated section)

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

quick and tasty

Peel half an onion and finely dice. Trim and slice the spring onions. Peel the garlic clove and crush it with a knife. Dice the beefsteak tomato. Sauté everything in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the tomato paste and simmer with the lid on for 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, basil, and parsley to taste and cook for another 5 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the gnocchi in 2 tablespoons of butter until golden brown.
