Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi, homemade or from the refrigerated section
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 pear(s), not too soft
  • 2 shallots
  • n. B. Thyme
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Easy to make, delicious combination

Cook the gnocchi in salted water. Peel the shallots, halve them, and slice them into thin rings. Wash, core, and slice the pear into sticks. Melt the butter in a pan, add the shallots and pear. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. If desired, add a pinch of sugar to taste. Briefly fry everything vigorously. Deglaze with a splash of white wine and reduce the heat. Add the gnocchi while they are still dripping wet and let it cook briefly. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over them, melt it, and serve. If you want it even creamier, simply add a little of the cooking water or a little milk or cream. As a topping, if desired, a bacon chip, toasted without fat in the oven or in a pan, tastes best.
