Gnocchi with pesto and salmon in Microgourmet

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • 2 portions of salmon or fish of your choice
  • 1 bunch of herbs, of your choice
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 cup pesto, homemade or store-bought

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Fill the water container with the specified amount of water and place the steamer on top, then add the gnocchi. Now attach the simmering basket or sieve insert. Bear in mind that the fish juices will drip through the sieve insert, but not the simmering basket. You can also quickly check whether the fish is cooked through (depending on its thickness) without losing any steam. In this recipe, I use the simmering basket. Place the fish in the insert and the herbs on top. Now put the lid on and put everything in the microwave. 720 watts, approx. 20 minutes. If the fish is nice and thick, lift the lid briefly after the cooking time and extend the cooking time by a few minutes if necessary (check the water level!) or select a maximum of 800 watts for a cooking time of approx. 15 minutes. Arrange the gnocchi on plates and add the pesto and fish.
