Gnocchi with spinach, bacon and onions

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g gnocchi (refrigerated section)
  • 450 g spinach, frozen
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 50 g bacon cubes
  • 3 tbsp sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Nutmeg
  • n. B. Vegetable stock powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

quick, easy, delicious

Heat the oil in a large pan. Briefly fry the diced onion over high heat, then add the frozen spinach, reduce the heat slightly, and let it thaw while stirring. Peel and finely chop the garlic, and add it with the bacon. Season to taste, then add the gnocchi. Fold in the sour cream and season to taste. Then simmer everything over medium heat for 5 minutes, until the gnocchi are soft, stirring occasionally. Finally, stir in the grated cheese, if desired, and serve.
