Gnocchi with tomatoes and garlic

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi, dried
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 pepper, red
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel and press the garlic, finely chop the chili peppers, wash and dice the tomatoes. Add the gnocchi to boiling salted water. Drain as soon as they rise to the surface – this can happen very quickly, so be careful, otherwise they will become mushy. Store the gnocchi in a bowl or on a plate and briefly clean the pot, then add the olive oil and return the pot to the heat. Briefly fry the garlic and chili peppers, then add the gnocchi and toss briefly in the oil. Finally, add the tomatoes. Cook everything for about two more minutes, tossing occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Makes two large portions. If you like, you can vary the dish with herbs or other spices. Goes well with finely fried fish.
