Goat's cheese with honey and spring onions

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g goat’s cheese
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • Fresh herbs (sage and rosemary or chives and parsley)
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. figs, fresh or lamb’s lettuce
  • lemon juice
  • Baguette(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Finely slice the spring onion, finely chop the garlic clove, and chop the herbs. I prefer 4 sage leaves and 3-4 rosemary sprigs, but it also tastes great with parsley and chives. Mix all ingredients together and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a while. Serve as a spread on baguette, as an appetizer on fresh figs (sage version), or drizzled with pumpkin seed oil on lamb’s lettuce (parsley version).
