Gorgonzola mushroom sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g mushrooms, fresh small brown
  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 100 g cottage cheese
  • 150 ml cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter, or oil
  • 1 tbsp basil, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • e.g. pasta or gnocchi, cooked

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

ideal with pasta or gnocchi

Brush the mushrooms and slice them thinly. Fry them in hot oil until golden brown. Chop the Gorgonzola and melt it slowly in a saucepan with the milk, cream, and cottage cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the pasta or gnocci, sprinkle with basil, and finally add the fried mushrooms.
