Gorgonzola – Pumpkin

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pumpkin(s) (festival or Gorgonzola)
  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 200 g cooked ham or smoked salmon
  • possibly salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cut open the top quarters of the pumpkins, remove the seeds and strings. Then replace the lid and bake in the oven at approximately 170°C (fan oven) for 45 minutes. In the meantime, dice the Gorgonzola and the ham or smoked salmon. Fill each pumpkin with half of the cheese and return to the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes, until the Gorgonzola has melted. Serve immediately. Simply scoop out the entire pumpkin. It looks great and requires little work. Caution: When using smoked salmon, you need quite a bit of salt, and the whole pumpkin will take on a very “smoky” flavor.
