Swabian Leberkäse roulades

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 slice(s) Leberkäse, thinly sliced
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • Butter or margarine
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the leeks and cut into small rings. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add the leeks, and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 10 minutes. Then spread the leeks on the Leberkäse slices, roll them up like roulades, and place them in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the cheese over the slices and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C.
