Gorgonzola sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g Gorgonzola, spicy
  • 200 ml cream or 1/2 milk, 1/2 cream
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • possibly leek
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. olive oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • possibly vegetable stock or sauce thickener or flour

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

simple and delicious, ideal for gnocchi or tortellini

Sauté the garlic (and leek) in olive oil, then deglaze with white wine after 2-3 minutes (not too much!). Dice the Gorgonzola and add it, then add the cream or cream and milk mixture. Simmer on low heat for another 5-10 minutes, stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper. If the sauce is too thick, simply add a little vegetable stock. If it’s too runny, thicken with a light sauce thickener or flour.
