Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 200 g cream cheese, natural
  • 50 g bacon or ham
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 2 onions
  • 80 g cheese (Gouda), approx. 6 slices
  • 2 tbsp chives, in rolls
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder
  • 2 packs of pumpernickel rolls
  • butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes

Finely dice the bacon or ham, onions, and eggs. Add the cream cheese and chives, mix thoroughly, and season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Then spread the mixture over the cheese slices and roll them up. Wrap the Gouda rolls in aluminum foil and tie the ends like candy. Let the rolls chill overnight in the refrigerator. Before serving, cut the Gouda rolls into 1-2 cm thick slices and place them on the buttered pumpernickel slices.
