Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g cream cheese, grainy
- 50 g low-fat yogurt
- 1 tbsp, heaped almond flakes
- 1 large apple, approx. 230 g
- 1 tsp margarine
- 1 tbsp brown cane sugar, more if needed
- some cinnamon powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix the cream cheese with the low-fat yogurt and divide between two glasses or small bowls. Peel the apple, remove the core, and dice the flesh. Toast the flaked almonds in a pan over medium heat until light golden brown. Stir well to prevent burning. Remove from the pan and set aside. Melt the margarine in the pan, add the apple cubes, and fry for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix the brown sugar with the apple pieces and fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until caramelized. Depending on the acidity of the apple, you can use a little more sugar. Season to taste with cinnamon. Divide the toasted apple pieces between the glasses filled with cream cheese and sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Serve.
