Grandma's Apple Muffins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine
  • 125 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 4 drops of flavoring (lemon flavor)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g raisins
  • Cinnamon
  • 200 g flour
  • 4 apples
  • possibly powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the apples into small pieces, then mix all the ingredients into a batter and fill muffin tins. Finally, sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Bake at approximately 160°C (convection oven) for about 25 minutes. This batter is also suitable for an apple pie. Use one more apple and quarter it, then fan it out and spread it on the pie. Use a 24cm baking tin and bake a little longer, of course. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar. I always make double the batch; that way we’re guaranteed Sunday coffee, and the kids are happy, too.
