Grandma's good cauliflower – broccoli – stew with beef

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g beef, from the nut
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 bunch soup vegetables
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the meat into bite-sized cubes. Peel the onion and stud it with the bay leaf and clove. Wash and trim the vegetables, chop them roughly, and place them in a pot with the onion and meat. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1500 ml of water and simmer, covered, for about 75 minutes. Wash and trim the cauliflower and broccoli, and divide them into florets. Remove the meat from the broth and place it in a pot along with the cabbage. Pour in the broth through a sieve. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, for another 15-25 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Wash the chives and chop them into small pieces. Season to taste and stir in the chives.
