Grandma's lemon cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g margarine or butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla)
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, juice and grated zest
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 5 eggs
  • powdered sugar
  • Fat for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then gradually beat in the eggs. Combine the flour, lemon zest, pudding powder, and baking powder and stir in. Line a baking sheet with baking paper or grease it and spread the batter on it. Bake at 180-190°C (350-375°F) for 20-25 minutes. Make a glaze from the lemon juice and icing sugar and spread it over the cooled cake.
