Grandma's potato salad

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 4 large waxy potatoes
  • 1 apple
  • 2 gherkins
  • 1 egg(s), boiled
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 150 g sausage (hunting sausage)
  • 1 bratwurst
  • 100 g bacon
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • possibly lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Boil the potatoes in salted water. Peel and dice the onion and apple. Dice the gherkins, sausage, bratwurst, bacon, boiled egg, and boiled potatoes. Mix everything together. Mix the mayonnaise with a little pickle juice (lemon juice can be used as an alternative) and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Mix the mayonnaise into the ingredients. Place the finished potato salad in the refrigerator and let it sit.
