Grandma's tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 30 g margarine
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 30 g flour
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel and dice the onion, and sauté it in the margarine. Then sprinkle in the flour and deglaze with the water. Bring to a boil, then add the tomato paste. Bring back to a boil and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. You can also add paprika or curry powder. This sauce can be served with various types of pasta.
