Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • oil
  • 1 liter of water, cold
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 carrots
  • ¼ cauliflower
  • 3 potatoes, raw
  • possibly frozen peas or 1 small pack of frozen vegetables

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Chop the onion and fry in oil, add the flour, and stir until the roux turns yellow. Pour in about 1 liter of cold water. Whisk the roux to prevent lumps. Add the stock cube, salt, and pepper, and season to taste. Add the chopped vegetables and potatoes and cook until tender.
