Wash and halve the grapes, then bring them to a boil in a saucepan with the sugar and water. Simmer with the lid on for about 5 minutes until the grapes have become a puree. Transfer the puree to a tightly sealed glass jar, pour the grappa over it, and let it steep in a dark place for 6 weeks, shaking occasionally. Then filter the mixture through cheesecloth and pour the liqueur into smaller bottles. You can also add a few halved and deseeded grapes to the bottles for decoration.
