  • 250 ml cream
  • 200 g quark
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp Amaretto
  • 2 limes
  • 5 leaves of basil, fresh at all costs!
  • ½ honeydew melon(s)
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear(s)
  • 1 banana(s)
  • 1 nectarine(s)
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp brittle
  • 3 biscuits (cantuccini, Italian almond biscuits)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Any fruit is suitable for this fruit salad. Fresh fruit is best. This fruit salad also tastes delicious with a mix of berries. Cut the fruit into roughly 1-centimeter cubes and place in a bowl or casserole dish. Squeeze the limes and add the juice to the fruit. Chop the basil and add it to the dish with the brown sugar. Whip the cream with the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and fold in the quark. Stir the Amaretto into the cream. Spread the cream quark evenly over the fruit. Refrigerate for one hour. Then crush the biscuits into crumbs (e.g., in a plastic bag with a rolling pin!) and sprinkle them over the fruit salad. Sprinkle the brittle over the top, and your “gratinated” fruit salad with Amaretto is ready.
