Gravy soup with egg

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ liter of water
  • 1 cube of soup
  • Caraway seeds, whole, 1/3 tsp
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • some lovage
  • ½ tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp flour, smooth
  • ½ tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Bread(s), (pieces of black bread)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Boil the 1/2 liter of water with the stock cube, caraway seeds, crushed garlic cloves, and lovage for about 15 minutes. Make a light roux from the oil and flour. Briefly toast the chopped parsley. Stir into the soup with a whisk and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and whisk in the two eggs. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Toast the brown bread pieces in 1 tablespoon of oil and sprinkle over the soup when serving.
