Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g cracklings
- 150 g flour
- 15 g yeast
- 3 tbsp milk, lukewarm
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 tbsp wine
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg(s) (for brushing)
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (not necessary)

Töpörtyûs pogácsa
Let the yeast rise in the milk. Finely chop the cracklings, combine with the flour, risen yeast, cream, egg, wine, and salt to form a dough. Roll out the dough three times in succession and then re-break to form three or four dough pieces. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Cut out doughnuts using a small cutter and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Brush with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with caraway seeds, if desired, and bake at a high heat (200-220°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
