Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 600 g feta cheese
- 2 pointed peppers, green
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 small chili pepper(s)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 30 g hard cheese, coarsely grated
- 1 tsp oregano, dried
- ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 8 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the feta in an ovenproof dish greased with olive oil. Thinly slice the bell peppers, tomatoes, chili pepper, and garlic and arrange them on top of the feta. Sprinkle with grated hard cheese and season with oregano, paprika, chili, salt, and pepper. Finally, drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven until the cheese has melted. Serve the dish while still hot in the dish. Tip: Pecorino can be used instead of Greek hard cheese (such as kefaloteri).
