Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 burger buns
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 eggplant(s)
  • 300 g minced pork
  • 2 slice(s) feta cheese from the can
  • 2 tsp gyro seasoning
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

everything is prepared on the grill

Season the ground beef with gyro seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper and knead well, then form two patties. Cut the bell peppers in half, remove the seeds, and grill until the skin is blackened and can be peeled off. Cut the eggplants into 1 cm thick slices and grill until light brown. Place the patties on the grill. After about 3 minutes, turn them over, add the feta slices, and finish cooking the ground beef. Cut the buns crosswise and top with the eggplant slices, then place the ground beef and feta on top, and finally the grilled bell peppers. Place the top of the bun on top and secure with a toothpick.
