Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 portion of pizza dough of your choice
- 1 kg asparagus, green, cleaned, cut as needed
- some butter for frying
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 200 ml Hollandaise sauce, bought or homemade
- 1 cup of crème fraîche, approx. 150 – 200 ml
- 120 g cooked ham, finely diced
- 1 bag of mozzarella, grated, approx. 200 g
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Prepare the pizza dough (roll it out if using pre-made dough). Fry the asparagus in melted butter and finely diced garlic for about 3-5 minutes on all sides (depending on thickness). Mix the hollandaise sauce and crème fraîche. Season with salt and pepper, then spread it on the rolled-out pizza dough. Spread the asparagus evenly over the sauce and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg as desired. Sprinkle the diced cooked ham on top. Finally, sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20-30 minutes. Note: Veggie lovers can simply omit the ham.
