Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 450 g asparagus, green
  • 2 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Crema di Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

vegetarian, low-carb

Wash the asparagus, trim or snap off any woody ends, and dry. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. Arrange the asparagus in the pan so that the spears touch the bottom of the pan. Fry the asparagus over medium heat (5/6 of 9), turning constantly, for about 15-20 minutes until al dente. In the meantime, mix the honey with the balsamic vinegar and the remaining olive oil to make a glaze. When the asparagus is almost cooked through, brush the glaze onto all sides using a pastry brush. The asparagus is ready when it is fully cooked and the tips are lightly caramelized. The amount of glaze depends on the desired intensity of flavor. It tastes particularly good with beef fillet or ham.
