Green pepper beans

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, fresh green
  • 1 tbsp pepper, pickled green
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 150 ml cream
  • Salt and pepper, some freshly ground black
  • Oil (olive oil) for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Trim the beans, cook until almost tender, and drain. Meanwhile, grind the rinsed green peppercorns, garlic clove, and a pinch of salt. Heat a little olive oil in a pan, fry the beans, and remove them. Lightly toast the pepper and garlic mixture in the pan, pour in the cream, and simmer until the cream is nice and creamy. Carefully stir the beans into the pepper and cream mixture, add a little more salt, and finish with a pinch of freshly ground pepper. A great spicy side dish for hearty meat. Or served cold on a Mediterranean appetizer buffet (then add a little more seasoning and let it marinate overnight).
