Green peppermint sugar

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 handful of fresh peppermint

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Wash the peppermint leaves and spin them dry or pat them dry. Place them in a blender with the sugar and blend thoroughly. Spread the moist peppermint sugar on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 50 degrees Celsius, then turn it off and place the baking sheet in the blender. It takes about 2 hours for the sugar to dry. Loosen it frequently to speed things up. When the sugar is dry, you can blend it again, depending on how long it takes to make powdered sugar. Or you can simply remove the sugar from the baking sheet in larger crumbs. Fill jars and seal. For drinks, desserts, baking, etc. A great gift from the kitchen.
