Green spinach pasta casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle, green
  • e.g. vegetable broth
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 300 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 900 g spinach (frozen)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 6 tbsp vegetable broth from the noodles
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • oregano
  • Thyme
  • marjoram
  • 2 onions, diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Cook the tagliatelle in the broth and drain. Reserve some of the broth. Thaw the spinach. Sauté the onions until translucent, then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add 6 tablespoons of the broth from the pasta to the minced meat. Season well with pepper, salt, paprika, and the herbs. Place half of the tagliatelle in a large baking dish, top with half of the minced meat and the spinach. Sprinkle 150g of grated cheese over the pasta. Repeat until all the pasta, spinach, and minced meat have been used up. Finish with grated cheese and drizzle with cream. Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 180°C for half an hour.
