Green tagliatelle casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 tagliatelle, green
  • Butter, in flakes
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow and green
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • ½ liter broth
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 bags of cheese, grated
  • Maggi
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente and place in a greased baking dish. Stir the butter flakes into the hot pasta. Cut the bell peppers into small pieces and fry briefly in a little oil; they should still be firm to the bite, then stir into the pasta. Make a roux with 1 tablespoon of margarine and 1 tablespoon of flour. Pour the roux into the broth, stirring constantly. Dice the cooked ham and add it to the broth with the cream; heat through. Slowly add a packet of grated cheese until the cheese has completely melted. Season the sauce with Maggi and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle the casserole with the second packet of cheese and bake at 180°C until the cheese is golden brown. This recipe is also great for cooking for friends.
