  • 100 ml milk
  • oil

English side dish for meat

Preheat the oven to 220°C. Pour about 1/2 cm of oil into each hole in a muffin tin and brush the entire hole. Place the tin in the oven and let it heat up. Meanwhile, beat the eggs well. Stir in the flour thoroughly. Finally, pour in the milk and mix everything well. Let the batter rest for about 15 minutes. A longer rest time is also fine. Remove the muffin tin from the oven when it is really hot. Quickly pour the batter into the hot oil so that the cases are about half full. Then quickly return the tin to the oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, leaving the oven open so the puddings don’t collapse. They need to be crispy and golden, so serve immediately.
