Green Tea Mojito

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup of tea (strong green tea), freshly brewed
  • ½ jar ice cubes
  • 1 lime(s), finely chopped
  • 1 handful of mint leaves, finely chopped
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the finely chopped lime and chopped mint leaves (add sugar now, if desired) into a glass and mix. Gently press the limes with a spoon. Add ice until the glass is about 2/3 full. Pour hot tea into the glass. Garnish with a mint leaf, let it steep briefly, and enjoy. Tip: Some people make the mistake of using too strong/weak a tea or brewing it too hot. The optimal amount for this recipe is 2.5 teaspoons to 250 ml of water (strong tea). The water temperature for green tea should always be around 80-60°C.
