Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 stalk(s) asparagus
- 10 slice(s) Bacon, wafer-thin
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 dashes lemon juice
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the asparagus, trim off the woody ends, and season with lemon juice, a pinch of sugar, and pepper. Since the bacon is salty, no salt is needed. Wrap each spear with two slices of bacon and wrap the asparagus in two layers of aluminum foil with a knob of butter, sealing tightly. Grill the parcel for about 20 minutes and serve the asparagus with the foil juices and new potatoes.
