Grilled bananas with ham and Tabasco

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bananas, ripe
  • 4 slice(s) ham, raw, smoked
  • Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 9 minutes

Peel and halve the bananas. Brush the ham with Tabasco and wrap the half banana in it. Secure it with a toothpick and place it on the grill. I always grill the bananas indirectly, meaning not over the glowing coals. The ham should be just slightly crispy, then it’s done. However, I’ve learned that the type of ham makes a big difference, and at the moment I prefer smoked ham.
