Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g Brussels sprouts, fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp honey mustard
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Mettwurst or Chorizo

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes

Boil the Brussels sprouts in water for 3-4 minutes, then rinse. If using fresh Brussels sprouts, remove the stem and outer leaves. Once the sprouts have cooled, add them to the marinade. For the marinade, mix the mustard with oil and season with salt and pepper. Marinate the sprouts for at least 1-2 hours. Tip: You can also prepare the whole thing the day before and then marinate it in the refrigerator overnight. Thread the sprouts onto wooden skewers, alternating with slices of mettwurst (or chorizo), and grill evenly on all sides.
